Western New England University

Western New England University is a private, non-profit university in Springfield, Massachusetts. The university is set on a 215-acre campus that includes 28 major buildings and an expansive outdoor sports complex anchored by the 1,500-seat Golden Bear Stadium.  The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees through its five academic colleges and schools. 

Academic facilities range from 30 engineering laboratories in Sleith Hall, including a Biomedical Engineering suite and 19 STEM laboratories, and a model pharmacy in the $40 million Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy. It also houses the Cohen Trading Room and Financial Center and Business Analytics Center,  state-of-the-art performance and participation labs for occupational therapy students, and a multimedia courtroom at the School of Law.

The university offers a variety of housing options to live on campus ranging from traditional halls to more independent living in the suites and apartments. Western New England University offers more than 70 student clubs and organizations that make it easy to jump in and explore your interests. 

There are 20 Division III men’s and women’s athletic teams. The hub of athletics and fitness on campus is the Alumni Healthful Living Center, featuring a field house for indoor sports, along with a pool, track, fitness center, and much more.
