Western Kentucky University (WKU) is a public university in Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States. WKU operates regional campuses in Glasgow, Elizabethtown-Fort Knox, and Owensboro. The university offers 93 majors and 77 minor degree programs.
The university is home to CRD (Center for Research and Development) that is spread across 27 acres providing start-up and existing businesses with the resources needed to succeed. The university has 15 residence halls and 2 apartments on campus where more than 5000 students are living.
The university men's athletic teams are known as the Hilltoppers and the women's teams as the Lady Toppers. Their mascot is known as Big Red. The mascot has become one of the most popular characters in collegiate sports.
There are over 350 registered student organizations available on campus for you to get connected to the campus, develop leadership skills, meet people, and have fun. There are over 34 fraternities and sororities that give you the unique opportunity to become the best version of yourself.
