University of Washington, Seattle is one of the oldest public universities in Seattle, Washington, it was founded in 1861. Its campus spreads across 700 acres of land and is one of the largest and most prestigious institutions for higher education on the west coast of the US.

The university's athletic teams compete in the PAC-12 Conference and also won the national championships in women's golf and rowing.
The University is located on a 703-acre, suburban campus in Seattle (population: 652,405); branch campuses in Bothell and Tacoma. Served by air, bus, and train. School operates transportation to medical centers.
