University of Texas, Dallas

The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), also known as UT Dallas, is a public research university located in Dallas and has its main campus in Richardson in, Texas State. It was initially founded in 1961 and today is part of the University of Texas system. It offers over 140 academic programs across its eight schools.

In Richardson, its main campus is just 18 miles north of downtown Dallas and sits atop a beautiful 465-acre campus. The campus is renowned for its green campus efforts. The university has over 300 recognized organizations for its students and includes many sports and recreational facilities. 

UT Dallas is renowned for its rapid growth in research output and is classified as a doctoral university with high research activity. It hosts over 50 world-class research centers and institutions and has over $120 million in research expenditures. The university also conducts research in collaboration with prominent industries like NASA.
