The University of Pennsylvania also called Penn is a private research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It has a campus of 299 acres with historic buildings and state-of-the-art classrooms.

The university offers more than 90 majors for its undergraduate students in its four schools and its 12 schools have top-rated undergraduate and graduate programs and courses in the world. It offers students education through research and intellectual rigor along with different communities across the world.

The university engages its students with the world through courses, research, projects, and internships; it has 182 research centers and institutes along with 5000 research faculty. The University's students, faculty, and staff participate in more than 300 Penn community service programs and more than 70 academically based community service courses. 

The University is located on a 280-acre, urban campus in Philadelphia (population: 1,536,471). Served by air, bus, and train. School operates transportation throughout campus and to local off-campus areas.
