University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (UMassD) is a public university in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. It is one of the five campuses of the University of Massachusetts System and is located 96 km away from Downtown Boston. 

It has 3 satellite campuses - Dartmouth, New Bedford, and Fall River. In addition to these campuses, the university also has a Kaput Center for Research and Innovation in Stem Education in Fairhaven. The Dartmouth campus is spread across 710 acres comprising 13 central buildings, 122 classrooms, and 113 instructional labs or studios. 

The university provides three residence options - traditional residence halls, apartments, and townhouses to live on campus. More than 75% of the first-year students live on campus. The university offers more than 180+ student clubs and organizations for you to explore, find and meet new people who share your interests. 

Greek Life is an active part of the UMass Dartmouth campus - and with 9 active organizations, there is something for everyone who's interested in Greek life. The university athletic teams, known by their nickname, the Corsairs, compete in a variety of sports in Division III. The men's sports include baseball, basketball, football, ice hockey, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, and track and field. The women's sports include basketball, cross country, sailing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
