University of Houston, Clear Lake

The University of Houston, Clear Lake (UHCL) is a public university in Pasadena and Houston, Texas. It has a branch campus in Pearland and a Texas Medical Center in Houston. The university serves students in four academic colleges and offers 97-degree programs - 46 bachelor's, 48 master's, and three doctoral. 

The main campus, Clear Lake Campus, is located on a 524-acre nature habitat adjacent to the Houston community of Clear Lake. Six classroom buildings, a Physical plant maintenance facility, the headquarters building of the Environmental Institute of Houston, and the University Forest Apartments are based at this campus. The university has 90+ student organizations for you to explore and get involved in. 

The university-based Recreation and Wellness Center at the Clear Lake campus offers seven fitness zones, personal training, small group training, group fitness classes, workshops, an elevated indoor track, and other amenities. It is also home to the Exercise and Nutritional Health Institute. The residence hall of the campus, Hunter Hall, has 294-beds and offers community-style living in the shared common areas.

The Pearland campus offers undergraduate and graduate courses in education and several social science disciplines. Currently, it offers seven undergraduate degrees, six graduate degrees, and one doctoral degree. The Texas Medical Center offers three business-oriented graduate degrees in health care administration—including a dual MHA/MBA program.
