The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga

The University of Tennessee—Chattanooga is a public university that was established in 1886. It is located in a city, and the campus is 442 acres in size. UTC operates on a semester system, with five summer "mini-terms" available.

Chattanooga is best known for its nationally ranked Business programme, as well as departments of Engineering, Nursing, English, Chemistry, Accounting, Psychology, Music, and Education. Over 140 undergraduate majors and concentrations, as well as over 50 undergraduate minors, are available at the university. Chattanooga also has nearly 100 graduate programs and concentrations, including a prestigious master's programme in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Ph.D. programs in Computational Engineering and Physical Therapy. UTC recently began an exchange programme with Kangnung National University in Kangnung, South Korea, in an effort to broaden the horizons of its student body.
