Texas A&M University is the oldest public university with the research flagship in College Station, Texas. The university was founded in 1876 and has a wide campus of 5200 acres with 69000 students leaving on the campus.

The University is located on a 5,200-acre campus in College Station (population: 100,050), 90 miles from Houston; branch campus in Galveston. Served by air; bus serves Bryan (five miles); major airport and train serve Houston. School operates transportation to student apartments and parking lots.
