Oregon State University

Oregon State University-Cascades is a branch campus of Oregon State University located in Bend, Oregon. Bend and Central Oregon form Oregon’s fastest-growing region and one of its most vibrant economies. Yet the region lags behind the rest of Oregon in higher educational attainment.

The university encompasses a 128-acre campus footprint. With a vision to become a model for innovation and sustainability, and a mission to connect with the surrounding community, the OSU-Cascades’ award-winning long-range development plan reflects a nearly two-year public planning process. 

A living space on campus is more than just a room to study and sleep. At OSU-Cascades, a residence hall is a community. It's a place where friendships, ideas, and memories are created. If you live on campus, you're minutes from the river and the mountain, steps away from labs and classrooms, immersed in a supportive community, and focused on the things that matter. The Beaver Dam dining hall is a favourite gathering place for students and faculty. Talented chefs create daily specials like stir-fry, grain bowls, sushi and pasta; plus, there is a soup and salad bar, pizza station, grill, and even kombucha on tap.

There are over 20 clubs and organizations for you to participate in, ranging from athletics to academics. Bend is home to dozens of hiking/biking trails or breweries. The city is home to Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort,  a popular tourist destination just 30 minutes away from the Cascades campus.
