Middle Tennessee State University

Established in 1911, Middle Tennessee State University or MTSU is a public university located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The university campus is spread over an area of 466 acres. It provides acclaimed academic programs and state-of-the-art facilities to its students. The university has an exciting campus life and has thriving Blue Raider athletic programs. 

MTSU is mainly known for its Music and Concrete Industry Management programs and provides good academic as well as practical exposure in the fields of Recording Industry and Aerospace Industry. To support the academics, the university provides state-of-art facilities including several computer labs, a library, departmental labs, academic advising, and other services. 

The university has invested around $1 billion in improvements and new construction on the campus. The university has research partnerships with many organizations including the United States Army, the United States Marine Corps, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, among others. 

The university has around 340 student organizations, fraternities, and interest groups. It has its own media outlets including a student-run newspaper, a creative magazine, and a  peer-reviewed journal, which keeps the students engaged in co-curricular activities.
