Illinois State University is a public university in the Normal Town of Illinois State. It was initially founded in 1857 as Illinois State Normal University and only changed to its current name in 1968. It is the oldest public university in Illinois. The university offers a range of academic programs at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.
The Illinois State University is set up on a huge 350-acre urban campus with state-of-the-art facilities and technology. It is located in the Bloomington-Normal college town and has all the comforts and amenities a student will need during their study time at ISU. Some of its many resources include a career center, accommodation services, safety and transportation services, Clinics, student fitness centers, and sports clubs.
Its scholarly faculty constantly collaborate with its students on research projects to make the world a better place while providing the required knowledge to the students at the same time. Recently the university has announced a technology-based incubator to Bloomington-Normal that will offer space to students, faculty, and community members to build connections and test ideas.
