Eastern Michigan University

Eastern Michigan University is a public research university located in the Ypsilanti city of Michigan state. The university was initially founded in 1849 as Michigan State Normal School. The university offers over 200 undergraduate, 150 graduate, and other certificate degree programs through its 7 Colleges and Schools.

Eastern Michigan University’s main campus sits atop an 800-acre campus with 122 buildings. The university also has eight satellite locations that offer numerous course options. Like any other big university, EMU offers many student-oriented facilities outside the campus. Among its many students, social activities are plays,  musicals, student organizations, Friday night movies, laughs, sky lounges, etc. 

EMU offers student-centred learning, development, and learning activities that challenge and supports the interests of its students and its staff members. The university was established as a national leader in innovation and an overall individualized student-centric experience outside the classroom.
