About The University

The University of East Anglia also called as UEA was established in the year 1963. It is one of the top 25 universities in the UK. It is a campus-based university and is located in 320 acres of rolling parkland just two miles from the centre of Norwich, England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. It is a leading member of Norwich Research Park, known for research in the fields of environment, health and plant science in Europe. It is home to students from around 120 countries.The university has excellent architecture and is in close proximity to almost everything a student needs for comfortable survival in the city. The university also has a huge sports park where international events are organized regularly. This is the first university to offer a course on creative writing in the UK. It is known for its excellent research facility ranging from health & nutrition to the environment and responses to climate change, exploring issues of family and child policy, investigating competition and regulation through to creativity and enterprise.
